Benton county schools and sports to be cancelled next week

Classes and sporting events involving Benton County schools will be cancelled next week.

The week of March 16th, Benton County schools all grades will be closed due to the Corinavirus outbreak.

After school activities including sports will not take place.

Most area school districts have followed suit, with Tippah and Union also being closed among others.

The call was made by the district on Saturday.
