Ashland falls to Walnut in season opener

Ashland fell to Walnut in season opening football action by a score of 43-8. The blue devils went behind 14-0 early in a rain soaked contest and were never able to regain their footing.

Zayvon Knox had the lone touchdown of the game on a 36 yard second quarter scamper.

The blue Devils had opportunities in the red zone they were not able to convert.

Ashland is on the road next week, facing another 2A opponent in East Union who Defeated Falkner last week.
