Hickory Flat tops Berry at Grind2Shine Classic

BRILLIANT, Ala. — The Hickory Flat (Miss.) varsity girls basketball team earned a 44–28 win over Berry (Ala.) in a neutral-site, non-conference matchup Saturday at the Grind2Shine Classic.

Hickory Flat controlled the game defensively and pulled away in the second half to secure the victory.

Berry’s Olivia Roberson, a member of the Class of 2029, was named Player of the Game after leading her team with 13 points.

The contest tipped off at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, as part of the Grind2Shine Classic event in Brilliant, Alabama.
